I purchased a replacement walking belt for a Proform 625EX through amazon, but was shipped from Treadmill Doctor (www.treadmilldoctor.com). The belt came with instructions that were pretty easy to follow. I believe anyone with some basic mechanical understanding can do this as a home project. I had the treadmill deck and belt off in 30-40 minutes. The new one was on and the treadmill back together in another 30-40 minutes. My [..] son was a helpful set of extra hands for the re-assembly. I spent another 20-30 minutes getting everything adjusted and the motor cover back on. Belt looks and feels like the original did when it was new.

ordered this item on AMAZON and apparently the Cadence 850 had several different model numbers and sizes. There is nothing when placing order on amazon that allows you to specify the exact model number, (i.e. WLTL85053 etc.) Even though the description on Amazaon makes it sound like it fits all Weslo Cadence 850 Treadmills, it does not! I am returning to Treadmill Doctor. On their site, you can see that different model numbers have different measurements. I'm sure they will send me the correct one.

Nice but it slips:

I put it on with no problems but when running on it it tends to slip. So I am thinking it's too loose. Might be my tread's problem but I don't know yet. It's a great quality tread belt however. Feels like it will last longer then the orig did.

Great Product for this treadmill walking belt, instructions could use some improvement:

Product was delivered with extreme efficiency - even sooner than I had expected, based on Amazon's delivery window estimate. I've been using the new walking belt on my treadmill for a couple weeks now. It's better than new (in the sense that I bought my machine used, and this is the first time the belt was changed.) It's nice that this product comes pre-lubricated, with a recommendation to apply the provided tube of lubricant after about 6 months of use. If the original owner had been as diligent about properly maintaining the belt, I might not have had to replace it yet. My only complaint about this product was in the instructions provided for removing my old belt and installing this one. They do provide several sets of instructions based upon what type of treadmill you have, but I still found that the most appropriate set for my machine was a little vague. Some more easily interpretable diagrams would have been nice. I ended up getting stuck about halfway through removal of the original belt because I couldn't locate a part on the machine that was referred to. At that point I just decide to 'wing it', as far as getting the belt off. Then, having abandoned the instructions, I basically reversed my steps to get the new one on. After some minor adjustment to the tension, it works like a charm. Overall, I'm happy - with this treadmill walking belt and the service.

This was purchased as a replacement belt for my daugther's treadmill. She had some difficulity at first with the adjustments, but after calling the manufactor she managed to get it on her treadmill and is using it without complaint.

he price was very fair and shipping was fast, BUT, it seemed it was not cut straight. It took my husband forever to attach it to our treadmill. He kept thinking he possibly did something wrong. It turned out that the belt did not have a straight cut. We left it on and let the treadmill run for a while and eventually with time it is still wearing itself down. Did not return the item because we had it for so long before we attempted to attach it to our treadmill. It was such a project, we did not even want to bother.

Worked out great for me

I was a little worried after reading the other review and decided to buy the belt through Amazon instead of direct from the seller's website because I figured I would be covered if there were any problems. There were none. The belt shipped promptly (next day), came with replacement instructions for several different treadmills and fit perfectly. It's like having a new treadmill. The seller's website has a lot of good tips for repairing your Treadmill Walking Belt so it's recommended as well. The only thing that didn't work for my application were the extra screws that were included (classy touch) to secure the side rails which were originally held down with staples. The heads were too large to fit down into the deep plastic grooves on my model. I just used some of my own screws. Treadmill Doctor even include lube to be used at the 6 month mark. I have the Healthrider DRTL25060.

Need a replacement part for your treadmill? You might want to skip this vendor. Not once but twice did they send the same incorrect part. Email replies to queries were terse, bland, uninformative, and almost to the point of rudeness. Phone calls were not returned and throughout the process there was almost no customer service to be found. I had to go through my credit card company to get any cooperation. For me I say, skip the Treadmill Doctor and jog over to another source for your replacement parts.
